Do you have a website? Ever wonder which page your site shows up on certain search terms? Well, I did. I was thinking about writing a little tool for this, but thought there must be something out there already...and there was.
What is my Search Rank
What Is My Search Rank is a nice little site for just this purpose. Type in your website domain, type in some search terms and hit search. This will tell you on which page in Google, Yahoo and Live (although Live didn't show any data) your site comes up on.
One tip: When entering your domain name, make sure to include the www (or whatever). Their matching algorithm doesn't seem to do a wildcard at the beginning of the URL, but it does at the end.

Thanks for your mention of whatismysearchrank.com. The reason why we didn't wildcard the "www" at the start is because Google makes a difference in their search as well. It treats "www" and non-"www" as different sites. You can change those settings for your site in Google Webmaster Tools as well.
Anyway, could I also ask you a favour? Could you please change the link text to "What is my Search Rank" instead of "www.whatismysearchrank.com"? This will increase our ranking for the search term "search rank", while the pure domain won't change it much. Thanks!
Happy blogging!
